Lets assume that your xbox 360 simply quit on you and you need someone to show you how to fix the red ring of death.  At this point you might think that your best bet is to send it over to microsoft for them to sort it out.  You are now well aware that there are more people now who have seriously sad stories about not getting their consoles back even after 3 months.  They even had to pay $140 to cover costs.

1) Its ok to store the xbox 360 inside a closed place like a shelf, except during gameplay you must take it out into the open so that it can get some cool air to avoid it from crashing.

2) The power brick is one of the culprits that may be responsible for overheating your xbox 360 therefore you have to make sure that it is off the ground.  This will allow cool air to enter the vents and circulate.

3) Getting cool air inside your xbox 360 is crucial so if you have a fan or anything else that can blow in constant cool air into it you could use it.  The fans inside the console do not handle the job well enough so you may possibly help with that by also blowing away dust that has settled inside your unit.

Sometimes the fixes above don’t work and that probably means that your console problem is more advanced than a mere overheating problem, and that was the case with mine so i needed a guide to show me how to fix the red ring of death.  Subsequently, i made a decision to test out 3 of the leading xbox 360 fix guides that i happened to find and i realised that only one of them was actually able to help me fix my system in just under 2hrs from start to finish and i was blown away.  I have no more problems and i was able to fix the xbox 360 red ring of death.
